This piece is an expansion of “New York” the scan focuses more on the ‘big apple’ aspect of New York. The image found was an apple in a chain and I liked the sultry aspect of going in for a bite but not quite being able to reach it. I also loved the warping that the drying, folding, and scanning procede provided to the piece - to almost set aside the excitement and lean into the salaciousness of New York and all of its promises.
